Feb. 13th, 2009 09:24 pmToday has been a lot better, relatively, compared to some I've had.
Have resolved not to dwell on the fact that my primary reason for being here has yielded no fruit. Life's too short even for an immortal. In fact the more I worry about it, the less likely I am to be coherent should I have the chance to speak with any 'resident' angels. Azrael assures me I still taste the same. So... No. I'm fine.
Absolutely fine.
I went to see a film, for the first time. Something called 'Ghostbusters', which I loved, and now I want to see more. Shawn assures me that most of it is purely what is known as 'the magic of Hollywood'. I spoke to Norrin, and returned Addie's coat. I'm taking her to see the same movie.Gods! Film. I'm starting to sound American.

I'm now now feeling extremely UN-sexy and a little more sorry for myself than is usual. Or sensible. I could probably do with a cuddle. Failing that... There's a very large bottle of tequila in the kitchen which will suffice.

How could he possibly have the sexual advantage because he's evil? It is is quite, QUITE ridiculous because nobody will ever trust him. Really. And to be envious of a vampire for something as superficial as sex appeal is really quite beneath me. Not to mention wrong. And beside the point. The point being - I shouldn't be thinking this. ((ooc note: Yes he is kind and sweet and as adorable as an angel should be. But he has been known to sulk. He's only 245, poor kid))

Jan. 4th, 2009 01:05 amHaving studied several texts on Earth religions, modern, orthodox, ancient legend AND Eastern philosophies... by the time he's reached any real information on angels, Phoenix is really... very much less enlightened than he was when he started out.
Buddhism. He quite likes that. The only system that seems to encourage freedom of thought as opposed to blind faith.
But then the nexus he frequents is so full of gods, hellgods, demons and Gods-know-what-else; it's all becoming something of a nightmare.
After some hours, he sits with his head on his desk, groaning.
