Date: 2009-07-31 08:43 pm (UTC)Phoe's constantly baffled by Norrin. In fact he's baffled by Earth too, and finds Norrin a kindred spirit in confused-ness. He likes him a LOT, considers him a really good friend, loves talking to him, and totally accepts that Norrin doesn't like friends worrying for him, or being upset by his problems. It means Phoenix feels he can talk to Norrin about pretty much everything, without Norrin feeling he can't share stuff. It goes both ways, Phoenix knows he can talk to Norrin about things and not have to worry either.
He LOVES Norrin as a dragon... though it seems to preclude hugs, but then he's delighted for his engagement to Drake so it doesn't matter XD

Phoe thought Ryan was a bastard little upstart at first, but yeah, UST was inevitable, and he does tend to be pretty loyal to people who are good to him, or people of higher rank. Ryan was pretty kind when Phoenix was in his cage, so he started liking him a lot more from then on. Now, since the er, cavewarming, he's just dropped how he thinks Ryan should behave, doesn't much care who owns him, and just pretty much likes him, and fancies him, and WANTS him… quite a lot. He'd probably share a trouble with him, if he didn't think it would put the puppy in any kind of dangerous position, and in spite of the inevitable snark between them… Phoe would probably do his utmost to help or save Ryan if he was in any kind of srs trubbbles.
He won't be saying 'no' to any future shenanigans either ;)
Regular: Oooh.. I recall doing this before I think:? Phoenix is extremely fond of young Ryan, but being partly a child himself, tends to forget some things are a bit too adult for the poor kid. So he tends to treat him as an adult more than he should. He's often mortified when he's done or said something to freak Ryan out, and would do anything to put that right again. He has a deep understanding of how Ryan's dad was with him, and it makes him sad. (He's unable to experience hatred) His own dad was pretty horrendous, and it wasn't so often but it was more drastic. So he hopes and wishes Ryan will recover from what's happened to him, and would gladly help.
Regular: Saxie: Heh. Fancies, adores…. Is scared of pissing her off, but thinks of her as a really good friend. He likes the way they can talk to each other about the fact types they do fancy each other a bit and it's not an issue. Both are far too loyal to Az for anything to go anywhere. He also admires her for being so strong, and finds her funny, brave and warm. He'd feel okay talking to Saxie about anything sensitive, again being partly a child and finding himself with a male guardian instead of a female, there's probably a bit of a mother image going on there. But he'd never tell her, it might be offensive, and then she'd hit him with shoes.
Future: Saxie: (Had to stick this in as I'm TOTALLY gushing now) Seeing her again after so long, has reminded him of how close he used to be to ordinary people. In the car lot battle, if he'd had to make the choice between helping her, Janie, or Ella… it would have been Saxie. Not only for their old/renewed friendship, but for Ryan, for Azrael and for himself. Yes he still fancies her, most of the Angels brain can be located in his pants, but his extreme fondness for her is more because of what once was, the past, and he's constantly astounded and delighted by her strength. Saxie makes him feel ashamed at his general attitude toward mortals (So does Ian Malcolm, but Saxie does it in a less demeaning way!) She's not someone he'll ever forget. *single glistening emo tear*

Regular: Aww, Ryan isn't ever really too disturbed/offended by Phoenix - more amused than anything else. And I think he gets that Phoenix understands what all he went through and doesn't pity him - kid doesn't like being pitied. So that's nice for him to have.
Regular: Saxie: Heh, Saxsice is a huuuuuge flirt, and she likes having someone to fluster (she has to keep in practice, right?) Plus she trusts Phoenix not to go too far or anything - AND she trusts him around Ryan, wholeheartedly. And she has a special pair of Jimmy Choo's reserved just for him. :3
Future: Saxie: OMG YES. I'm soooo loving the Future!Phoenix and Saxsice dynamic. I think she was, at first, surprised by how much he'd changed, but then pleased - much as she loves present!Phoenix, she gets that child-like-ness about him, and likes having a Phoenix to talk to more as a peer. Plus he's all manful and sexy now, so. XD

Date: 2009-07-31 08:37 pm (UTC)Phoenix has LOADS of time for Shawn. He's perpetually baffled by Earth life, and takes everything Shawn teaches him very seriously... to the point that he believes Ghostbusters is a cultural classic (Right up there with Casablanca and Gone with the Wind)
To Phoenix, it's really good to have a perfectly ordinary, (bar the psychic element) mortal human friend who doesn't freak out over Phoenix being alien, or an angel, that he can reliably ask about the sort of things a young immortal needs to know about life in the Western World. Shawn is one of the most decent, fun and agreeable person Phoe knows. He's completely convinced Shawn is psychic, and partly convinced that the guy has something of an angel in him (see decent fun and agreeable) And given the chance, he'd probably jump right into bed with him ;)
He also thinks Shawn has better hair.
Irony!Phonix however, would happily eat him alive.

So he's a demon, and is possibly incapable of any truly 'pure' feeling, but things like loyalty and love seem to survive in Hell. He's totally incapable of fathfulness, but that seems to go both ways. Phoenix would do anything for Drake. It's lust, loyalty, hunger, raw need, desire, adoration and ... did I say lust? ;) There's also the added factor of the child now, she's half Phoenix, half Drake so that's brought on a whole new sense of affection and loyalty. But above that, he'd go through anything, even get hurled into the pit to protect his dragon, and right now I'm not sure who owns who? Bit of each perhaps, but as a youngster Phoe is pretty submissive to an older immortal being. When he's older.... there'll be no doubt who's wearing the collar and I'm kinda looking forward to that time. (OH and the thread with Drake and Az on the irony comm? The muse in my head simply ADORES being labelled 'The dragon's whore')
Regular: Very reverent towards Drake, though as he gets to know him a bit better, he'll probably tease him more, all in good nature though, he looks up to Drake as a parental figure in some ways; his own father having been a psychotic warmonger. He's enchanted by Drake's ways and mannerisms, and has a deep respect for the dragons age and wisdom. Dragons are noble and revered creatures where he's from, so he has this awe for Drake. Phoe is immensely fond of both Drake and Norrin, fancies both of them something chronic... as discussed above with Norrin-mun, this might get out somehow, though it's kind of obvious. For an angel he seems to fancy half the population, I blame his upbringing XD.

Date: 2009-08-02 08:58 pm (UTC)bb!Phoenix likes kid!Erik a lot. He's like the kind older kid who let the odd little angel play with the others, and was patient, and generally cool. I think as a kid, bb Phoenix had a fair bit of being thought 'weird' by the other mortal kids, because he's thoughful, considerate and well-nehaved even at that age. It doesn't occur to him to be naughty. AND ERIK'S AN ALIEN! - to little Phoe, which is even more awesome.
Irony: Overused I know, but NOM. XD He generally has little time for mortals... apart from the ones that reside at the palace, or are connected to the place. He definitely thinks Erik's hot, fucking horny, tastes better than chocolate and he's not averse to becoming (a) fairly friendly with him. (b) A repeat performance... Or several. He's also kind of interested in what kind of person Erik is, be interesting to have these guys getting to know each other.

As such, I'm sure he'd be more than agreeable to spending lots of quality time with Phoe, and surprisingly enough, it doesn't have to be naked. :)

Date: 2009-08-03 09:20 pm (UTC)Faithy Faithy... Well, he likes her plenty, but after making several blunders (this was all before his current transgrassion) He's generally pretty wary about anyone of higher rank, and plays it fairly quietly until it's established whether they like him or not.
He does actually like Faith personality-wise, they're both massive sluts after all. He likes that. He respects her as a senior member of court and probably fancies her something rotten. But he's well aware of the toyroom, what Faith and Az do to some of the lower caste incubi, also he's aware that Faith's games can be very twisted and nasty.. he approves HIGHLY of this, but doesn't want to end up as the one being twisted... even if he doesn't mind pain being on the agenda.
I think once he'd gotten to know her better, much like Az, anything she suggested would be met with a big, evil 'bring it on' grin.

Date: 2009-08-04 09:25 pm (UTC)Regular Addie: Total adoration and affection. He really does think of her as a sister. An older sister.. a slightly befuddled older sister who occasionally needs the input of her adopted little brother (television sets notwithstanding) He doesn't think she looks after herself properly, but won't nag, not until it's obvious she needs it, and, as he DOES see her as an older and wiser immortal sis, he does feel quite comforted by her when he's feeling a bit low, or worried.
Irony Addie: Woo. Well, he started off thinking she was some mad old bat who had no business deciding to make him her toy. BUT, after some time (and a spell in the cage) he's grown inordinately fond of her, and is far more respectful of her rank now. He's suffering in the dungeons at the moment, thinkinf she's washed her hands of him. We as muns know this isn't true. But once he's out, and recovered, and now owned by Azrael due to his unique incubus status; he'd approach her again and try to be a friend, he'll probably try to show her she doesn't need a toy to be happy, but that she could rely on friends more. Of course she IS mad, and might not get it, but it won't stop him harbouring these slightly protective feeling for her. Especially as he grows older and matures.
Janie: He fancied her a bit at first, probably due to the young goddess that keeps getting mentioned. But now, he sees her more like a younger sister or cousin. He wants to keep an eye on her, and still isn't satisfied she'll be safe forever. He also wants to try and be a good friend.... alas this is something he's not great at in his older form. Hence the comments about blasting holes in his laptop, and dating Janie's mother havent been well received. He's still trying, and will continue to put his foot in his big mouth at regular intervals. But yes, he's very fond of Janie and wants her to be happy. Although he does have many mixed feelings about her marrying a mortal. He's been through that himself, but he'd never tell her so, unless she asked. Oh god, I could go on forever with Janie!

The longer one is that he finds Alec fun, charming, cute, ... far too good-looking, usually understanding (Unless he's attaching bells to poor Phoenix when he's a hedgehog) but yes, he's completely smitten. He also likes the fact that they're so similar in their ways, they don't crowd each other, there's no jealousies, dramahz, or petty jealousies.. though Phoe does wonder what their first row will be over. Probably something silly like bacon rind. But he can't imagine getting angry with Alec, not that Phoe gets angry, he's more likely to feel hurt, and sulk for a bit. Oh and trust, he trusts Alec implicitly, and would never act in any way that he'd see as a betrayal. Not ever EVAR.
Future!verse? Pretty much the same, lulz, apart from the arguing, but that's more fun... especially the making up part ;) Older!Phoenix owes Alec one hell of a lot, as per the backstory, and would move heaven and earth (literally) to help him, should he need it, which he probably doesn't but it's the thought that counts... He would however like a pair of matching socks every now and then.
